Kevin Rudd

Australian statesman and China scholar who served as Prime Minister and later Ambassador to the United States. Rudd has known Xi Jinping for over three decades, from Xi's time as a local party official through Xi's rise to China's presidency. He holds a doctorate from Oxford on Xi's Marxist nationalism and is author of "On Xi Jinping" and "The Avoidable War."
