Ty Seidule
General Ty Seidule served in the U.S. Army for over three decades, retiring in 2020 as a brigadier general. He is a professor emeritus of history at West Point and received its distinguished faculty award. In 2021, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin appointed him vice chair of the Congressional Naming Commission tasked with redesignating Department of Defense assets honoring Confederates.
