Laura Benanti is a Tony Award-winning actress and singer known for her roles on Broadway, including The Sound of Music Live! (as Maria von Trapp), Gypsy (as Gypsy Rose Lee), and her impersonations of Melania Trump on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She has also appeared in films and TV shows, and currently performs stand-up comedy.
