Kyle Carpenter
Medically retired United States Marine who received the Medal of Honor in 2010 at age 21 after throwing himself on a live grenade to save a fellow Marine in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He is the youngest living Medal of Honor recipient. After extensive recovery from severe injuries, Carpenter became an author, speaker, and advocate for mental health and meaning-making after trauma.
