Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison is a ski mountaineer and the subject of "Everest: The Other Side," the film from Jimmy Chin and Chai Vasarhelyi. A year before this episode he completed a first-ever ski descent of Everest's direct North Face from the summit. He lost his wife and two young children in a 2011 plane crash, and his partner Hilaree Nelson in a 2022 avalanche on Manaslu.
