Elie Wiesel

Elie Wiesel was a Holocaust survivor who was sent to Auschwitz at age 15 and later became a Nobel Peace Prize winner, professor, and humanitarian. His firsthand account of the Holocaust, Night, is considered one of the most important books of our time. He died in 2016 at his home in Manhattan at age 87.
